Characteristics

Phenylene Polysulfide is applied where PA, POM, PET, PEI, and PSU do not work, or where PI, PEEK, or PAI are oversized, offering a more economical alternative.
It is a reinforced and self-lubricating semi-crystalline polymer.
Thanks to the uniformly dispersed lubricant, PPS has outstanding wear resistance along with a low coefficient of friction.

Properties
High maximum service temperature in air 220º C continuously up to 260º C in short periods
Very good dimensional stability
Excellent chemical resistance and resistance to hydrolysis
Very good resistance to ultraviolet rays
